This June 7th, User Experience Strategist Jaime Levy will combine forces with Product Leaders (un)Conference to deliver a 1-day, hands-on, highly interactive workshop on UX Strategy.

The workshop is helping UI and UX practitioners, product teams and managers, business execs and startup founders who want to improve their strategic processes and practices. You’ll learn collaborative techniques that accelerate your thinking around product differentiation and innovative business models.

A known influencer in UX circles, Jaime heads a consultancy called JLR Interactive, which caters to startups and enterprises, helping them transform their business concepts into innovative and scalable online solutions. She conducts UX workshops worldwide and is a part-time college professor at the University of Southern California.

About UX Strategy

UX strategy is a process that should be started before the design or development of a digital product commences. It is a practice that when done empirically is a better guarantee of a successful digital product than just crossing your fingers, designing some wireframes, and then writing a bunch of code. It’s the method by which you validate that your solution actually solves a problem for real customers in a dynamic marketplace. Take this workshop to experience a deep dive into the subject matter with both lectures and plenty of hands-on exercises.

What will you learn about

  • Why the empirical practice of user experience strategy is crucial for devising successful online products
  • How to validate a value proposition and a provisional persona
  • How to identify direct and indirect digital competitors of your value proposition
  • How to collect and capture quantitative and qualitative data for doing thorough market research
  • How to conduct a methodical analysis for narrowing in on a unique product and opportunity space
  • How to use storyboarding for creating a narrative that focuses on a products’ value innovation and business model

As a bonus for participating at this event, you will also receive UX toolkit and copies of UX Strategy book.
